Serbia - Italy Business Forum
As part of the joint commitment to the further improvement of economic cooperation between Serbia and Italy, the Embassy of Italy in Belgrade and the Italian Trade Agency ICE together with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia, are organizing a new edition of the Business Forum Serbia - Italy, in Belgrade, on Friday, January 31 2025, at on the sidelines of the bilateral meeting between the two governments, which will take place on the same day.
Following the significant results of the Business and Science Forum held in Belgrade in March 2023 and the Italy-Serbia Business Forum in May 2024 in Trieste, both organized by the Embassy of Italy in Belgrade and the ICE Agency in cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia, the Forum planned for January 31, 2025 will demonstrate the continuity of Italy and Serbia commitment to strengthening bilateral economic partnership, which has also been proven by the signing of numerous cooperation agreements between authorities, associations and companies of the two countries.
The program of the Forum includes, in addition to institutional addresses by the Serbian and Italian authorities, a panel presentation of innovative financial instruments activated by Italian institutions to support the bilateral partnership, as well as parallel round tables on the following topics:
• First round table: Circular economy and energy transition;
• Second round table: Sustainable agriculture and industry;
• Third round table: Physical and digital Infrastructure.
In the afternoon of January 31, companies will have the opportunity to hold B2B meetings with Serbian colleagues and to explore specific topics of particular interest with actors of both, Serbian and Italian system and state agencies.
The deadline for business registration of Italian companies via the online platform is Friday, January 17, 2025. The working languages of the Business Forum are Serbian and Italian, with simultaneous translation provided. Bilateral meetings of businessmen will be conducted in English. Participation in the event itself is free of charge, without a registration fee.
Please note that registration on the day of the event will be time-limited without the possibility of entering the building in the afternoon.
